Job Type: Temporary Part Time
Centre Name: The DeeSigns Foundation
Location: We are based in Hertfordshire, but the position is for remote counselling via Zoom, so sessions can be from anywhere within the UK

MORE DETAILS...

Open to all Deaf students needing a placement opportunity without the need for the extra costs for BSL Interpreters. All our clients are from our Deaf community with our Counsellors being either Deaf themselves or hearing at BSL NVQ Level 6. You will be offering remote counselling via Zoom to our Deaf clients throughout the UK. One day per week preferred, but we can be flexible.

We will also provide one of our Counsellors for your counselling sessions, again without the need for a BSL Interpreter. In addition to this, we will provide BSL Interpreted Supervision sessions with our Trustee Supervisor (Interpreted at no extra cost to you).

Our placement opportunities offer equal access to all Deaf students, meaning your financial outgoings for the course requirements will be the same as your hearing peers.
